Our mission is to make peer-reviewed research and global health developments accessible to clinicians, researchers, public health professionals, and the wider healthcare community.

About the Journal
The Georgian Medical Journal (GMJ) is Georgia’s peer-reviewed, open-access general medical journal, published by the Public Health Institute of Georgia (PHIG). GMJ publishes original research, reviews, editorials, and case reports across all medical disciplines. The journal follows ICMJE recommendations and operates under a Creative Commons (CC BY 4.0) licence. There is no article processing charge (APC) until January 2027.
