Third, these delays demand urgent healthcare provider education and policy reform. Clinicians must recognize that severe pelvic pain is not typical and warrants comprehensive diagnostic evaluation. Healthcare systems need standardized protocols for endometriosis assessment and management. Women deserve timely diagnosis, effective pain management, and coordinated care that respects their symptoms as valid medical concerns deserving thorough investigation and evidence-based treatment.
