ბიოაკუმულაცია არის პროცესი, რომლის დროსაც ქიმიური ნივთიერებები ორგანიზმში გროვდება და მათი კონცენტრაცია იზრდება, რადგან შეწოვის სიჩქარე აღემატება გამოდევნის სიჩქარეს [1].

Bioaccumulation is the process where chemical substances accumulate in an organism, increasing in concentration because absorption exceeds excretion.
