მიზეზობრივი კავშირი არის ორი მოვლენის ან ცვლადის შორის ურთიერთობა, სადაც ერთი მოქმედებს მეორეზე [1]. ასეთი კავშირი შეიძლება იყოს პირდაპირი ან არაპირდაპირი [2].

A causal association is a relationship between two events or variables where one affects the other.
