The algorithm systematically integrates diagnostic codes, delivery procedure records, and laboratory test results to classify pregnancies and estimate their duration with structured clinical logic. This data integration approach eliminates reliance on manual medical chart review or direct access to obstetric ultrasound records, allowing researchers to rapidly identify and characterize large pregnancy cohorts across Taiwan’s entire national health insurance system.
