The UKHSA Knowledge and Library Services programme now offers accessible training in evidence appraisal through dual delivery mechanisms—group seminars and personalised one-to-one instruction—ensuring reach across diverse professional schedules and individual learning preferences. This flexible approach represents a strategic investment in building information literacy as a core competency across the entire UK health workforce.

By accommodating multiple learning modalities, the programme removes barriers to participation and enables healthcare professionals at all career levels to develop systematic skills in navigating the expanding medical evidence landscape. The emphasis on accessibility and customisable instruction reflects contemporary understanding that effective professional development requires adaptation to varied learning styles and scheduling constraints, ultimately strengthening the evidence foundation underpinning clinical decision-making and public health policy across the health system.
