ვაქცინის მომდევნო დოზა საწყისი (პირველადი) კურსის მიცემის შემდეგ, რათა შეინარჩუნონ, გაზარდონ ან ხელახლა მიაღწიონ იმუნიტეტის დონეს იმუნოლოგიური მეხსიერების სტიმულირების გზით. მეორადი ვაქცინაცია გვაძლევს სწრაფ (მეორად)იმუნურ რეაქციას (Jefferson 2001). იხ. ვაქცინაცია.
