შავი ჭირი არის ბაქტერიული ინფექცია, რომელიც გადადის ფლეობოტომებით და იწვევს ლიმფური კვანძების ანთებას.[1]

Bubonic plague is a bacterial infection transmitted by fleas that causes swelling of lymph nodes.

შავი ჭირი არის დაავადება, რომელიც გადადის ფლეობოტომებით და იწვევს სხეულში ლიმფური კვანძების ანთებას. ეს დაავადება შეიძლება იყოს ძალიან საშიში, თუ დროულად არ მოხდება მისი მკურნალობა.

შავი ჭირი პირველად აღწერილი იყო შუა საუკუნეებში, როდესაც ის ევროპაში ეპიდემიებად გავრცელდა და მილიონობით ადამიანის სიცოცხლე შეიწირა.[2] დაავადება გამოწვეულია ბაქტერიით Yersinia pestis, რომელიც ფლეობოტომების საშუალებით გადადის ადამიანებზე.[3] შავი ჭირი ძირითადად ლიმფური კვანძების ანთებას იწვევს, თუმცა მისი სიმპტომები შეიძლება მოიცავდეს ცხელებას, თავის ტკივილს და სისუსტეს. ხშირად ადამიანები ფიქრობენ, რომ შავი ჭირი მხოლოდ ისტორიული დაავადებაა, მაგრამ ის დღემდე არსებობს და პერიოდულად ვლინდება სხვადასხვა რეგიონებში.[1] მნიშვნელოვანია, რომ საზოგადოებამ იცოდეს, როგორ უნდა დაიცვას თავი და როგორ უნდა მოიქცეს დაავადების სიმპტომების გამოვლენის შემთხვევაში.
