პრევალენტობა არის დაავადების ან მდგომარეობის გავრცელების მაჩვენებელი კონკრეტულ პოპულაციაში მოცემულ დროს [1]. ეს მაჩვენებელი გვიჩვენებს, რამდენი ადამიანი არის დაავადებული ან აქვს მდგომარეობა მოცემულ პერიოდში [2].
