WHO has declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) for an Ebola outbreak that has crossed from the Democratic Republic of Congo into Uganda. Signal intelligence from 31 May 2026 confirms the outbreak in DRC has exceeded 900 cases and spread across the DRC-Uganda border. All 15 signals consistently report the cross-border transmission as the trigger for the PHEIC declaration. The timing of signals suggests the declaration occurred on 31 May 2026, with initial reports at 08:04 andโ€ฆ
