სითბური სტრესი არის მდგომარეობა, როდესაც სამუშაო გარემოს მაღალი ტემპერატურა და ფიზიკური დატვირთვა ორგანიზმს თერმორეგულაციის შესაძლებლობას აღემატება და იწვევს გადახურებას, გაუწყლოებას და სითბურ დარტყმას.

Heat stress occurs when high workplace temperatures and physical effort exceed the body's ability to regulate its temperature, causing overheating, dehydration and heat stroke.
